Wilmavic Consulting was first registered as a for-profit company in 2016 in the Republic of South Africa. In 2022, the official registration was concluded in Lesotho. The company was started by two women (a medical doctor and a veterinarian) who were on the path of researching the impact and connectedness of global climate change on population health (both human and animal) – and how this could influence practice given the evolving clinical concept of “one-health”.

to mobilize African nations to move toward improved quality healthcare systems that incorporate the promotion of sound family well-being through the provision and promotion of the all-embracing comprehensive palliative care services for those living with life-threatening illnesses and/or who are at the end of life.
